Finally! Bass guitarists getting some props! I've played both bass & lead for the last 20 years, and have never had a problem getting a gig as a bass player. My brother-in-law's guitar teacher said that bass players are just failed guitarists, and that the bass player in a popular band is like a lottery winner. A lot of luck, not much skill.
