YES!

The Springfield City Council has passed a total smoking ban for restaurants, bars and other indoor public places.

Mayor Davlin took out his silly "ventilation clause".

The ban takes effect September 17, 2006.

    One of the smartest things the council has done in years. It was only a matter of time before it would happen but soone ris better than later. Now lets hope the state legislature will allow counties to do the same. Maybe Blagoidiot will do a statewide ban as well.
