If you haven't seen the movie Stranger Than Fiction yet, do so. It's a great film. It's one of the best I've seen all year. In addition to excellent performances by Will Ferrell, Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal, this song plays a prominent role in the pic.

Let's not forget Big Smash! Dave was always the kind of person who'd find, and introduce to his friends some little known, but deserving, performer. Back in those days, before the Internet, one had to keep an open mind, and open ear, as there wasn't a Google, or Itunes, etc., to simply discover a performer - or group.
Any unknown artist would have been labeled an alternative artist if they hadn't made that transition to mainstream airplay yet. Many of them never did, but we most likely heard them anyway - as most just ended up playing for a group which was a commercial success.
Thanks for sharing this video Dave. And, thanks for sharing all that other excellent music which you kept bringing back from C'Dale (to Springpatch) before I went down there myself.
