WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama onIf it comes down to accepting the VP spot or not, he will accept. Obviously, he’s not going to undermine his own campaign by acknowledging this now. No one would. This is not news.
Tuesday dismissed the notion he might consider accepting the No. 2 spot on the 2008 ballot -- with Hillary Rodham Clinton at the top.
"You don't run for second. I don't believe in that," the Illinois senator said on "Late Night with David Letterman."
