I actually thought this commercial was kind of funny when I saw it for the first time today. However, I agree with Atrios that if you take its implications seriously, it is kind of disturbing. Be sure to run a credit check on your fiancée before getting married! That way you can dump her ass if she’s got bad credit. Come to think of it, that might have helped prevent my first marriage. That and a criminal background check.
