Illinois Senator Dick Durbin gets good reviews in the The Nation. As well he should. Durbin has emerged as a leading voice in a much needed opposition. To paraphrase Col. Kurtz in Apocolypse Now, if we had a full caucus of Senators like Durbin, our troubles here would be over very quickly.
