Holy crap! The Selective Service remembers me. I was never in the military but I did register for the draft...a long time ago. 08/21/1980 to be exact, according to this SS site. In fact, I was among those who had to register when draft registration was reinstated back in 1980. You, too, can go to the SS web site, enter your last name, Social Security number and birth date to find out if you are registered.
