Job-Mart

I’m not sure if this is a sign of a bad economy or that jobs at Wal-Mart are more desirable than I thought but…
More than 7,500 applications were received for 400 jobs at the city’s second supercenter, which is scheduled to open July 16, according to company representatives, who expect to fill the final 45 jobs by the end of this week.
7,500 applications to work at a Springfield Wal-Mart? I thought that’s where you applied when you couldn’t fine work anywhere else.

Average Walmart employee last six months. Walmart hires 40,000 people a month to replace those who quit.
