Don't look now but we just had four straight days (Friday - Monday) with at least some precipitation. Has that happened in any other four consecutive day period this year?
Word on the farm is that the rain may save the soybeans but it came too late for the corn.

Beans it helped a lot but corn is past the stage where it would have done any good. You also must look at some of the amounts of rain that fell. Here in the Chatham area we have received over 3 inches since last week where other areas barely got a half an inch.
For the vegetable farmers who received rain it was a blessing.
