Yes, Lutheran High in Springfield, Illinois - yes indeed.

We decided not to send our daughter to that white flight palace.

We could have afforded Lutheran High only if we accepted the school's charity, and plunged even further in debt, but I'd have none of that.

Imagine shelling out seven thousand a year so that at the end of four years your child would still be filled with the influences of preadolscent magical thinking?

College prep the scientifically illiterate.

Scary thought, but with mommy's, and daddy's money to open the right doors, we're talking about this communities next generation of business, governmental, and community leaders. Surely good Republicans in the making.
