Is Rep. Ray LaHood thinking of leaving congress? This item in the Peoria paper makes one think he is- seriously.

PEORIA - With six congressional terms under his belt and his party dumped from power on Capitol Hill, Republican U.S. Rep. Ray LaHood has his eyes on Bradley University.

LaHood, 61, said Friday he’s seriously considering applying for the position retiring President David Broski officially vacates at the end of June.

Hmmm…So who’s on deck to run for the district seat in his place (obviously only Republicans need apply) if LaHood moves on to something new?
