Trash Talking

I know I’m way out there in suggesting that garbage pick up in Springfield should be a municipal service, but it’s better than all the half measures being discussed here. It may seem like a crazed communist idea but it really does work other places, even here in Illinois. It won’t completely stop fly-dumping since you will still have people who do not live in the city getting rid of their trash on the cheap but it will go a long way to that end.

And may I take this opportunity to say that trash pick up, no matter who is doing it, is still one of the greatest values out there. The cost of trash pick up, verses the situation you would have without it, can only bee seen as a huge bargain. God bless trash haulers.
