I have to use AT&T anyway because it's the only provider for a place to which I must have cell service. I'm stuck with them either way so I might as well do it in style!
As much as I would love to have one, I'll be waiting until the 2nd or 3rd gen. No 3G, accessible battery, or GPS are the deal breakers for me. Also the pricetag is a bit of a nutkicker. Everytime I start to feel the urge to get in line at the AT&T store, a look at the first gen iPod vs the 5th gen model I have.
I do think I'll be picking up the Blackberry Curve though. Half the cost of the iPhone with better features. Not nearly as sexy, but then neither am I.

Sweet phone, but AT&T SUCKS!
I recall the super cold day we were at the Obama run for Presidency announcement.
You have a rather edgy but hard to use phone, and were attempting to get access to my blog.
I flipped open my phone and had it in seconds while your service was chugging along like ... well ... shit.
In two years Apple can sell Iphones and we're talking improved versions to Verizon.
It will be worth the wait.
Still I love that phone from what I've read it will be a real improvement.

I hope too, as well. Maybe I'll wear my prom shirt so you can recognize me.
