This is worse than when the Blues Clues guy (Steve?) was rumored to have killed himself.
For about a week or so I found myself trying to steer our little daughter away from watching the show.
Thankfully it turned out to be only a rumor.
I'm hoping a praying that Owen will come to the conclusion that life is a gift not to be thrown away so lightly.
I've always thought suicide is an option for heroes in the ultimate act of self sacrifice, or for those in severe chronic physical agony wishing to be released from their torment.
But it is certainly irrational for a healthy young talented successful man like Mr. Wilson to end it all.
No there's definitely a need for intervention in this case.
