Nice Pair

The International Space Station and the Space Shuttle are orbiting earth next to each other and will be visible over Central Illinois tonight. The Shuttle Atlantis recently decoupled from the ISS and is preparing to return to earth tomorrow. Tonight though, weather permitting, look to the Northwest at 9:54 and you will see the pair move across the sky to the southeast. The sky is supposed to be mostly clear tonight.

10:00 PM Update: OK, that was awesome.

Totally.

Had myself, and three others watching those beauties pass overhead.

Want to thank you for the "heads up".

It was really something to see. It was even better experiencing it by your side - and through your eyes! Mrs TEH
