Snakes on a Lake!

I have nothing to say about this, I just wanted to do the headline. Well, OK, I guess I could say I now have even more reason not to particularly want to go into Lake Springfield. Maybe Hunter Lake proponents could use this as further justification for the new lake. The old lake has sea monsters!

lol... I just remembered a creepy [yet sharp] photo, along these same lines, at Brad Ward's old "Picture of the Day" weblog.

I said: "I hope that wasn't taken on campus."

He said: "Lake Springfield, close enough"

I remember, back around high school, when someone mentioned being at the beach... in Springfield!

Despite having lived here nearly my whole life, I was surprised to hear about people going to a beach in Springfield, and asked where it was - they told me they were talking about Lake Springfield's beach.

Someone commented though, that he's surprised people still go there, after the leptospirosis...
