The National Weather Service has just cancelled the Winter Storm Watch!
…and replaced it with a Winter Storm Warning. They say we’re in for a world of winter hurt.
The good news is, they’re often very wrong about these things. In fact, I’d say the direness of the prediction is inversely proportional to the severity of the actual outcome. But sometimes not.

I will have to agree with you on this. I have been up since 4am and the temp is 36. It has been raining alot here. However, the trend for the temps is that it is predicted to go UP, into the 40,s.
Yet as of now, I have check 3 different weather sources-Weather underground, weather channel and weather bug, and have gotten 3 different predictions. So what does that tell you?
I am not so worried about the snow as I am the predicted ICE. I would much rather have snow. Ice is just a nasty business.
We will see...It seems the forcast is ever changing. We will see.
