Stuck With It

Not so surprising results here.

The intersection of Hedley Road and West White Oaks Drive was voted the most annoying intersection in the city by a plurality of residents taking an sj-r.com survey last week...

And, according to the story, nothing can or will be done. And that’s that; move on folks, nothing to see here.

Your circle is just a bit off. I hate that intersection!

Oops! Thanks Anon. Map fixed. I think.

Getting out of White Oaks west at the North end is not fun either. For the southend, I try leaving out the back of County Market.

I guess I don't understand all the fuss. I'm all about avoidance. Yes, that intersection is a death trap ... which is why I don't go that way. If I want to pick something up at County Market or if I want to eat at Olive Garden ... I take the extra 60 seconds and leave at the OTHER end by Toys R Us.

Likewise ... Lawrence and MacArthur or Lawrence and Walnut also blows. Which ... is ... why ... I don't go that way. I suppose if I lived in that two or three square block area, I wouldn't have a choice ...

But ... common ... nobody lives literally at the intersection behind County Market. You don't HAVE to exit that way. Just seems like common sense. Avoidance ...
