Watching my teevee yesterday, I saw part of an interview with Laura Bush where she was all offended by the Iraqi shoe-throwing incident against her husband. All I could think about is how petty that is compared to war, misery and death that same husband brought to the nation of Iraq. I’ll bet none of that ever angered her. It’ll be so nice having both of them and all their friends gone.

Of course under Saddam that guy would have been decapitated on the spot. Although there were some collateral damage Bush still had a net plus over Saddam in regards to the number of lives saved. Saddam systematically murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. Many on the left seem to forget that tidbit.
Don‘t forget the 4200 dead American troops (and hudreds of contractors) and the tens of thousands wounded. And the hundreds a of billions of dollars spent. Why is it you war lovers always forget to add that to your calculation?
and many on the right seem to forget that we propped up Saddam, that we gave him the very weapons that he used to systematically murder hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. Sure, the shoe thrower didnt loose his head, but I would wager he had a date with a waterboard.
The fate of the shoe thrower misses the point of the post completely (but what else would I expect from a Bush apologist). Being angered by someone throwing (and missing) with a couple of shoes but not the horrors her husband needlessly unleashed on a sovereign nation is pathetic. Bye, bye Bushies.
Bible-Liar Rickmonday,
We can't forget the millions of Iraqi refugees in other countries or the hundreds of thousands (and according to one report 1.2 million innocent Iraqis) killed while Bush tried liberated them of their oil. We closed down Saddam's torture and rape centers and open our own. Oh and "God bless America"
How many died in the Twin Towers?
Saddam/Iraq had nothing to do with that. When are you going to be part of the real world?!?
Besides OBL killed 3 thousand innocent Americans, we killed as many as over a million innocent. Don't be surprised when they decide to enact revenge, and it will all be Bush's fault.
